Throwback Thursday: The Original KOOP Studio

"Here's a picture of the original KOOP office (2nd floor) and studio (ground floor and to the right as you entered). It was located on the east side of San Jacinto between 5th and 6th Streets. We were there for the first year and a half, and then (1996?) moved into the adjacent building (yellow brick) just around the corner on 5th St. The entire block is now the Weston building.
Classic Punk from the 70-80’s (Hardcore, Oi, Rockabilly, Garage & Cow-Punk) sprinkled with nuggets from the 90's & 00's. Along with the occasional interview.

"Another Bottle Down" recognized by Austin Food and Wine Alliance

Mark Rashap's KOOP radio show "Another Bottle Down" won the Austin Food & Wine Alliance's honorable mention at its annual awards ceremony on February 7. Every year, the Alliance recognizes Austin culinary innovators and donates to local food businesses and non-profits.
"Another Bottle Down" airs at 1 p.m. Tuesdays on 91.7 FM.
