KOOP is generally a democratically run cooperative. The members elect our Board of Directors, Community Council and Programming Committee. These bodies make decisions and advise the organization with an emphasis on organizational transparency and involvement of our members, programmers and volunteers.
KOOP is an all volunteer organization except for a few dedicated paid staff who handle the administrative organizational duties and overall operation of the station. The bulk of the work is done by our volunteer members, many of which are our on-air DJs.
