As a cooperative, KOOP uses a team-based approach. Listed below are the various teams and their Area Coordinators and a short description of the team's duties. If you'd like to get involved with a team, just contact the Area Coordinator and ask; they'll be happy to guide you. No prior experience necessary - just enthusiasm.

Administrative

Benefits

Cleaning and Recycling

Office and studio cleanup and daily maintenance.

Community Council

Community Council activities including meetings, community outreach projects, and related.

Elections Oversight Committee

Oversees elections including the Annual Elections, Programming Committee elections, and vacancy elections.

Grants

Research grant opportunities, writing and editing proposals.

Information Technology (IT)

Maintains web site, and internal computing systems including office computers, servers and network operations.

Membership Drive

Music Library and Show Substitutions

Recording of pre-programmed material including underwriting announcements (UAs), public service announcements (PSAs), promos, and more.

Tabling

Tabling and other on-site promotion of KOOP at community events.

Tech Team

Acquiring, updating, constructing and maintenance of studios, production and transmission equipment

Training Team

Volunteer Coordinator
