In partnership with Alamo Drafthouse Mueller, KOOP Radio is proud present a night of free live music on Saturday, Feb 16 from 7-10 at Barrel O' Fun featuring a solo set from Trey Privott of local soulful rockers Los Coast and Full Power Non Veg who meld Southern rock, sludgy Houston hip-hop, and Indian classical rhythms to create a desert-rock sound.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, Feb 9th at 9 PM, as KOOP teams up with 91.7 sibs KVRX for a night of musical revelry at Beerland. Local bands Borzoi, Gospel Truth, Hi Gene, and Prom Threat will provide the live entertainment, with doors opening at 9pm. Beerland is located at 711 1/2 Red River St. It's one frequency, two stations, and four great bands.
The International Folk Bazaar welcomes Mira Dickey and Ian Files, two local fiddlers who special in Scandinavian styles. Mira and Ian will be featured performers at the Austin Friends of Traditional Music's Midwinter Festival on (Saturday, 2/9). Wednesday, 12 pm.
