People United presents the first in its two-part coverage of the panel "Too Black to Be Queer, Too Queer to Be Black," convened during Austin Black Pride's third annual festival, and featuring Jeremy Teal, Fum Fum Ko, Constance Upshaw, Fatima Mann, and Sam Davis.  Upshaw, Austin Black Pride's outreach director, moderated the panel.  In this episode, the panelists take questions exclusively from the moderator.  (Next week's episode has them also taking questions from the audience.)

People United talks about the mental health of Palestinians living under Israel's occupation with Samah Jabr, a psychiatrist and psychotherapist from East Jerusalem, and Alexandra Dols, a filmmaker from Paris.  Dols' film Beyond the Frontlines: Resistance and Resilience in Palestine documents life in East Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip, as it draws on Jabr's insights about mental health in these occupied territories.

People United presents coverage of a panel discussion about the proposed 2019 revision of the Austin's Land Development Code, featuring urbanist and housing and transportation advocate Chris "Kaz" Wojtewicz and community organizer Carmen Llanes Pulido, and moderated by geographer Eliot Tretter.  (A public hearing on the LDC rewrite is being held by the Austin City Council at City Hall on Saturday, December 7, 2019, beginning at 10 am.  The Council has scheduled a first reading of the revised Code the following Monday, also at 10 am.)
