Album: A Saucerful of Secrets | Artist: Pink Floyd | Genre: Rock | Label: Capitol

Pink Floyd were late 60s pioneers of the then-new psychedelic and space-rock sound in London before they became prog/classic-rock stars after their famous Dark Side of the Moon in 1973. This is Floyd's 1968 2nd album (and the first w/o founder Syd Barrett and with then-new guitarist David Gilmour). The band became more exploratory and psychedelic with this album with Roger Waters and new guitarist David Gilmour having to step up to fill the void left by Syd's absence. - Professor Ted (Virtual Noise; Sundays 5:30-7 PM)
