The Singer and the Song welcomes Austin's own Roger Wallace. By City Proclamation, yesterday was Roger Wallace Day in Austin, so we will continue the celebration with this fine artist! Roger is a fine singer/songwriter with a new live record from his country honky tonk styled band, and he is also in a rock band called The Ruins. KOOP Radio presents a special benefit screening of the documentary END OF THE CENTURY: THE STORY OF THE RAMONES in honor of Joey Ramone’s birthday. The show will take place at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar at 7pm on Sunday, May 19th.

Before the film, KOOP will also present live DJ sets, a silent auction benefiting KOOP radio and other activities at The Highball (adjacent to Alamo South Lamar) from 5-6:30pm.
