Justin the Canuck will bring you a show full of Canadian songs about the rain, the floods, the creeks, the rivers, the lakes… and maybe even a little sun. Maybe. We’ll also have two pairs of tickets to give away to see Great Lake Swimmers and The Weather Station when they come to town on June 16.

Austin Artists features two guests, Artist Yuliya Lanina and TILT Performance Group.  Yuliya will be discussing her new show at the Blockbox Gallery with her signature mechanical sculptures along with new works on canvas, paper and a short film.  We then focus on a unique production by TILT, a company of specially talented actors, "The Flip Side", a different look at a lot of things.  This production is based on a world wide call for scripts from which six ten minute skits were selected out of over a hundred submitted.  This is a co-production with the Ground... Reflections of Community Outreach, ROCO, is proud to host Linda Phan, Executive Director of the Asian Family Support Services of Austin, AFSSA.  She will explain why such an ethnically specific organization is necessary in Austin and how it is working to promote healthy, abuse-free Asian communities in Central TX.
