People United presents a discussion of gay liberation in the context of various social movements since the 1960s, featuring poet, playwright and journalist Greg Barrios, a veteran of the gay and Chicano movements; Mary Bock, an Associate Professor of Journalism at the University of Texas at Austin; Thorne Dreyer, the host of KOOP's own Rag Radio, the founding co-editor of The Rag, and the editor of The Rag Blog; and Allen Young, a contributor to the Liberation News Service, who later joined the Gay Liberation Front.
